When Director John Samuel joined SACHED in 1979, he was struck by the quality of materials produced by the SACHED staff. He said: “it struck me that we were sitting on a goldmine.” Having such a wealth of material allowed SACHED to enter the publishing field, and it published a wide range of materials, including Working Women (1985), Right to Learn (1985), Freedom from Below (1989) and many more. These publications have been digitised and are available on this website!
